Maned Wolf Project

09/25/2018

The maned wolf is one of the most fantastic animals in the Cerrado.

Despite the name, it is not a close relative of the wolves of North America, Europe and Asia. Lone hunter, he feeds on rodents, lizards, small birds and even fruit.

The observation of the Guará Wolf in the nature occurs more frequently in the early morning or in the evening. All activities are guided by the team of experts from the Treasury

It is threatened with extinction, but some individuals inhabit the limits of the Trijunção Farm. In partnership with the NGO Onçafari (www.oncafari.org), Fazenda Trijunção maintains a research project dedicated to its conservation.

Guests can get up close to the project – and with a bit of luck observer in the star nature.
